Cancellation Policy

Deposits for summer camp are non-refundable. The balance is due via check or credit card PRIOR to the scheduled camp week. Reservations may be by contacting Jim Bland at 717-808-4950 or jim.bland@hersheykids.org. Campers are to be checked in by a grown-up inside the museum. Campers should wear closed shoes (no flip flops), socks and sunscreen. Each child should bring along a water bottle for hydration. In the event of temperatures of 90 degrees or higher - during camp hours - camp may be cancelled or moved indoors if the museum can accommodate. In the event of inclement weather - during camp hours - camp may be cancelled or moved indoors if the museum can accommodate. If management cancels a full day of camp due to weather, a make-up day will be offered provided there is space available in future sessions during the regular camp schedule. No refunds or credits will be offered. Campers are expected to treat fellow campers and staff with respect (listening, staying together, proper language, and no hitting or biting). Campers will receive warnings. If management deems the behavior to be a safety concern or requires an excess amount of monitoring, we reserve the right to remove the camper from activities and/or enrollment. In either case, emergency contacts will be notified for immediate pick-up for the day and/or remaining days. Staff are not trained or permitted to administer medications. If meds are required, camper's grown-up should be on hand to administer. Self-administered medications such as inhalers, are to be disclosed upon sign-up and disclosed again during drop-off. Restroom facilities are private and campers should be wearing clothing that does not require assistance to put on/off when using the restroom. We are always happy to tie shoes and even help with socks. If you are looking to register a special needs child, please call Jim Bland at 717-808-4950 to discuss. We will do what we can to work with families. Unfortunately, we are operating at a facility that is not fenced in and do not have extra staff on hand. We are open to include your care assistant, self, or other grown-up to help facilitate a great week for your camper. Snacks will be provided at designated times. Children will choose from a selection. Grownups must disclose any allergies campers may have.
