Make your kiddo's party something special at Hershey Children's Museum.

Small Party Room: $225

Includes 2 hours of room/playtime for up to 8 kids and accompanying adults. Additional kids are $14 each.

 

NOTE: Tables/chairs are kid size! Limited adult chairs and infant highchairs are in the room.

Details: $225 includes room rental fee and 8 kid admissions - maximum of 12 kids. Room includes two additional tables for cake and presents. Other than cake or similar small desserts, we don't recommend outside food in this room.

 

Balloon decorations are provided as well as table covers, juice boxes, bottled water, cake plates, forks, standard birthday candles, and napkins.

 

Additional kids are $14 each and payable on party day - Maximum of 12.

Family Party Room: $385

Includes 2 hours of room/playtime for up to 14 kids and accompanying adults. Additional kids are $14 each. 

 

NOTE: Tables/chairs are standard size set up for 20 people. Additional chairs and infant highchairs are in the room. 

  

Details: $385 includes room rental fee and 14 kid admissions. We recommend use for 10-18 kids although a few more could fit. Additional chairs are provided for adults. Room includes three additional tables for cake and presents. This room has the space for outside food such as pizza! Balloon decorations are provided as well as table covers, juice boxes, bottled water, cake plates, forks, standard birthday candles, and napkins. Please bring your own cutting/serving knives.

Before/After-Hours Facility Rental: $650

Includes 2 hours of exclusive play and use of large party room which holds 20 people at a time but can seat up for 40 people upon request. Please, no food in exhibit areas.

NOTE: Only the Family Party Room will be set up for a birthday. Food must be limited to party/snack rooms. Due to limited electric outlets, plug-in foods food containers are discouraged.

Details: $650 includes facility rental fee and 15 kid admissions. We recommend limiting capacity to 60 kids but can accommodate more with 7-day notice. Facility rental includes all tables, chairs, highchairs, and decorations listed in the Family Party Room.

Q) How do you justify the party room costs? 

A) Other than it being a great place to have a party, the rate includes room rental as well as discounted admission (free for adults and discounted for kids). Regular admission costs are $18 per child and $8 per adult. If you do the math, it's a great deal!

Q) Can I access the room in advance to set-up?

A) Sure! Come in about 20 minutes before your scheduled party. Be sure to ask us for help bringing in things and setting up. We're here to make things stress-free for you.

Q) What if I want a longer party?  

A) Parties held on weekends may NOT be extended. Weekday parties can be extended to 3 hours upon request prior to booking and (usually) without an additional fee.

Q) What about bringing our own food/drink?

A) Sure, why not! Just keep in mind that there is a time limit, and the kids are more interested in playing. Absolutely no alcohol and all drinks must seal closed. There isn't enough room for outside food (other than cake) in the small room - large room only!

Q) What about bringing our own decorations?

A) Sure, if that's your thing, but only to supplement what we have. Our themed room will not be torn down to accommodate outside decorations. Helium balloons are also OK.

 

Q) Do I tip the staff?   

A) Our staff is paid very well with lots of perks like schedule flexibility and free membership. Tipping is optional but not expected, requested, or required.

Q) Can I bring a professional entertainment company?  

A) Sure! Magicians, superheroes, princesses, are all great. Just remember two things 1) there is a limited time, and the kids came to play. 2) Unless you book a Facility Rental, expect your special guest to be approached by other children for fist bumps, hugs, and pictures. Sorry, we will not stop other children from engaging with your special guest.

Q) Got any helpful hints? 

A) YES! 1) Do food first. Kids will not be happy being pulled away from play for cake. 2) Keep things simple so you can enjoy the party as well. 3) Ask a friend to take pictures so you can enjoy the party too! 4) Have us help you bring things out to your car when you are ready. 5) If you forget to bring something, ask us, maybe we have it. 6) Ask us about party favors. We typically have zip pencil pouches filled with toys for just $6. Just let us know you want them and pay the day of the party.
