Service Description

As part of our commitment to the community, Hershey Children's Museum is opening our doors (literally) so non-profits can host a fundraiser. These after-hours events will enable hosts to obtain 15% of admission revenue received during the Community Days event. Most recent admission fees are posted on our website. As of June 1, 2025, admission rates are as follows: $18 - Children 2-12 $8 - Adults and children 13+ $5 - Children 12-23 months $11 - Children of SNAP and ACCESS card holders FREE: VIP Members of Hershey Children's Museum We ask organizations to only book one Community Days event at a time. A check will be mailed or presented to the Host organization within 30 days or a date mutually agreed upon. The amount of the check would be 15% of net admission revenue generated during the event as tracked by our POS system (Clover). Specific event admission codes will be used to track admission for the event. Infants and VIP Member admissions are free and will not appear in the provided report.

Cancellation Policy

Community Days are not private events but an opportunity for local organizations to raise money by inviting their constituents to participate. Hershey Children's Museum reserves the right but not obligation to promote Community Day events to its constituents. Community Days events are offered in good faith by Hershey Children's Museum with the expectation that host organizations will work to generate a minimum admission revenue of $200. Events with less than $200 revenue will not receive payment to cover processing fees, labor costs, and other fees associated with extended hours. For revenues above $200, 15% of admission revenue will be paid to the Host organization beginning with the first dollar received. Most recent admission fees are posted on our website. As of June 1, 2025, admission rates are as follows: $18 - Children 2-12 $8 - Adults and children 13+ $5 - Children 12-23 months $11 - Children who are SNAP and ACCESS Card holders FREE: VIP Members of Hershey Children's Museum We ask organizations to only book one Community Days event at a time. A check will be mailed or presented to the Host organization within 30 days or a date mutually agreed upon. The amount of the check would be 15% of net admission revenue generated during the event as tracked by our POS system (Clover). Specific event admission codes will be used to track admission revenue during Community Days; specifically, Adult: Community Days; Child: Community Days; and Toddler: Community Days. Infants and VIP Member admissions are free and will not appear in the provided report. Within 48 hours of the event, Hershey Children's Museum will provide a report that includes attendee count, associated revenue, and expected check amount due to host organization. The report will exclude counts on infants and VIP Member attendees as these are not revenue generating admissions. Attendees are expected to follow our standard rules of staying together, clean-up as you go, keep toys in designated areas, shoes off in bead pit, and use your walking feet. Guests will be reminded of this as they check in. If the host organization would like to have use of an Event Room or display tables for information, please let us know in advance.
